Plum Blossom

Plum Blossom: body, use, nuclear and changed patterns

Number rules and interpretive structure, kept distinct from coins.

Trigram numbers and remainders

This sequence assigns Qian 1, Dui 2, Li 3, Zhen 4, Xun 5, Kan 6, Gen 7 and Kun 8. A zero remainder represents eight for a trigram or six for a changing line. Number entry is a modern input interface; time entry follows its stated lunar-date and hour rules.

Body and use within this method

The stationary trigram is body and the trigram containing the changing line is use. Element relations describe a relation within this method and do not establish a complete verdict without the situation.

Nuclear and changed patterns

The nuclear pattern uses lines 2–4 below and 3–5 above; the changed pattern flips the selected line. These layers provide comparisons, not an automatically realized chain of events.
